Maren's Review

I just watched the latest BBC version of Sense and Sensibility with my 7 year old daughter while we (meaning I; she did gymnastics on the couch) folded laundry. She asked a few questions along the way and made sure she was caught up with things between the three episodes. When it ended and the final credits rolled, she asked, "Is it over?"
"Yes, it is."
"Oh wow. I feel so... happy." She bounced from the couch and into my lap and gave me a big squeeze.

And that is how I want to make my readers feel when they finish my books.

I'm staying up late writing, have to switch over to the internet every so often to give my brain a rest...oh yes, there's a new post to read! And while I'm here, I read your first chapter, which I had not yet done.

Woo hoo, Krista, you are an amazing writer! Love this, and look forward to the finished product!

That means a lot to me, Karen, thanks! I am recovering from a late-night writing session myself... my bed looks so comfy...

Congratulations on the sale of your book. Lots of luck with it. I'll look forward to a happy read. Where in Wyoming do you live?

Nisa, wow, the Bahamas? Cool to have that on my visitors map. Girls are wonderful for Jane Austen, but you'd be surprised to hear my football playin' coachin' watchin', hunting, meat and potatoes husband enjoys himself a little Pride & Prejudice now and then.
Shari, thank you. I live an hour east of the east Yellowstone gates, in exhilerating Cody, WY, where it is currently 29 degrees and snowing!

lol! It won't stay Bahamas for more than a couple of years. We're constantly on the go.

So there is hope for my boys still? Yea! My husband's a lost cause I'm afraid... I love him dearly, but the classics are definitely not his thing.

You want them to feel happy that it's over? Ha ha. Maybe I read that wrong. :D

We can all use a great feel-good story every now and then.

I really liked this version of S&S, though I liked the Kate Winslet version too.

Cute daughter! You're training her well!
